Anuolu-Comforter

ComforterPic1.jpg

Comforter is the fourth single release from Nigerian singer songwriter Anuolu. The song is about the longing for a guide, a sign or a person that can be a source of comfort in a time of despair. Anuolu writes this from the depth of the daily struggle to survive in challenging circumstances. The song is actually a song of hope for a better tomorrow for all who are suffering and is meant to be a source of comfort in itself.

Produced by music technologist and entrepreneur Amir Vinci with Strings by Keren Tenenbaum. It's a dark and downtempo beat! Sporting an indie "Dream-pop" spirit with an energy closer to Billie Eilish, Lana Del Ray.

Comforter Lyrics

I’ve lost my mind and there’s no one to comfort me

Am lost and left alone like Alice in the Wonderland

Maybe my comforter is not too far away from me

And am still waiting…

Cuz it might be on Mondays, Tuesdays , Wednesdays

Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays…

Maybe on Sundays I still got hope

That one day you will come and show me the way

Oh comforter I am still waiting

Oh comforter I am still waiting

I still wait on you

I still wait on you

Both young and old are praying for healing

Some cried day and night cuz families and friends are dying Some tried to kill themselves

cuz they’re tired of living, Oh comforter...

Come maybe on Mondays, Tuesdays , Wednesdays

Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays…

Maybe on Sundays I still got hope

That one day you will come and show me the way

Oh comforter I am still waiting

Oh comforter I am still waiting

I still wait on you

I still wait on you
